Baby born with two faces in north India

Infant with parents

There was a baby born with two faces named Lali. She has a serious condition called craniofacial duplication. It means that a single head has two faces, except for the ears, has two noses, two pairs of eyes, and two pairs of lips. Lali is doing really well and is not having any problems with breathing.  They and parents plus the docters are wondering how could she breath, see, and hear at the same time with those two faces the poor baby girls has. She is being worshiped as their incarnation of a Hindu Goddess. This is how it all started. Laili left the hospital eight hours after she was delivered and she was perfectly fine, until she was swarmed by villagers. Doctors say she is fine she’s drinking milk from her two mouths and blinks her four eyes at the same time. 100 people every day come to visit her and touch her feet and give her offerings of money.

This article was interesting to me because I never knew about this baby named Lali who got two faces. WOW weird though.

This article affects me and my community because its sad that a baby can be born with two faces it’s sad becuase people aren’t respectful so they just laugh at the person. And also because people thing its so unlucky for them to have an ugly baby like that but that baby laili is not ugly she is sent as a gaurdian angel sent form heaven and those parents are lucky that baby is not perfect but she is and angel form God. So people shouldnt be making fun of her because she doesnt deserve being made fun of. Come ON THOSE PEOPLE HAVE BRAINS!!!!!!!

A Billionaire, Sabotage and a Mysterious Death

A technician reported last week that someone had tampered with a private helicopter of Anil Ambani, one of India’s wealthiest industrialists, while it was parked at a Mumbai airport. Then, on Tuesday, the technician, Bharat Borge, was found dead on railroad tracks in Mumbai. He was carrying a letter that mentioned the tampering investigation, Mr. Borge’s family and officials of Mr. Ambani’s company said. Cut to the detectives arriving at the crime scene. Debate raged in India on Wednesday over whether Mr. Borge had committed suicide, had been pushed or was yet another accidental victim of the trains, which kill an average of 10 people a day. The case has become a cause célèbre in India, not just because of the mystery around the technician’s death but also because it involves Mr. Ambani, the billionaire chairman of the Reliance ADA Group, whose company straddles industries including telecommunications, energy and movies.

I think that someone killed the technician, because he had told and reported about the crime. And the person who had messes around in the helicopter got angry and wanted revenge. I learned that you shouldn’t be messing around with others stuff in the first place, then you create huge problems. And then sometimes you get in a fight for no reason just because you want revenge. Like people call me Shrimpay!!! or i call myself that but i never want revenge and call other people names i mean they just do that for fun.  Its really sad that that innocent had died, may he rest in peace! Shrimpayyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!!

17 killed as Indian’s elections get underway 4/20

India’s first day of voting in a monthlong election got off to a rocky start. Militants attacked polling efforts in four states, killing at least 17 people. Its a massive problem involving 714 million eligible voters using 1.3 million voting booths in more than 823,000 polling sites. India is no stranger to violence between rival political groups. The attacks took place in several voting districts in the eastern part of India known as the “red belt”. A land mine killed five polling officials, two paramilitary soldiers died in a gunfight, and five polling stations came under a fire. ix border guards, a bus driver and his assistant died on their way to the election center in another explosion.

This article affects me because thats sads that those militants killed 17 people when they were voting. They casued explosions and gunfighting. Why’d thye kill those 17 people??? For what???

In Teeming India, Water Crisis Means Dry Pipes and Foul Sludge

People of all over U.S.A dont have a problem with waisting water but guess what in this interesting article that I read it says that India chilldren under the age of 5 are dieng because of that. They have run out of water and thats not good because thet’ve gotta survive. This crisis has been growing very fast. Water all has been too hard to get in some areas, contaminated in others and plenty for millions who are flooded each year. Today the problems threaten India’s ability to build its farms, support its economic growth and make its cities healthy.

More than 700 million Indians, do not have enough clean water. Largely for lack of clean water, 2.1 million children under the age of 5 die each year. About 9 out of 10 Indians have access to the public water supply, but  may include going dry or are contaminated.    Unless dramatic changes are made soon, India will not have the money to supply and build new foundations, nor the water required for the economy and for people because if they don’t keep on waisting water than that problem in their economy can prbally change. Though, crisis say we still dont know.

People here dont have a problem with their water running out, because if the water dont come out or doesnt work you can call the water tanker or someone to help you. Well, India is not really doing good with water.

This effects me, because India is going through a tough time, by not having enough water and cant supply the people easily. And here in the U.S had tought me a lesson because everytime I’ve taken showers and i never turned off the water only sometimes and to me thats sad because its like im killing someone else and im not that kind of person. Comeon we have brains and we know better than that we should never ever but NEVER waste water its just a waiste of time.  This shows me that we are lucky to have water, and should appreciate it by not wasting it.

Chinas outline plan for electric cars

The chinese are trying to become the largest producer of electric cars in the world! Even though they have to bring great effort and there will be many challenges and obstacles, they promised to overcome it all. They will have to pick which electric vehicle models would become popular Zhang Shaochun said, a vice minister of finance. The main step will be to lower prices for buyers of electric cars.

While electric cars are working faster, they remain  twice as expensive as same sized gasoline-powered cars,  greater range, higher top speeds and better records for safety. Speaking at a conference at the government’s prestigious Diaoyutai guesthouse here, the officials acknowledged that their efforts faced challenges in terms of the cost and safety of electric cars. They promised a nationwide effort by manufacturers, universities, research institutes and government agencies to overcome these obstacles.

China’s biggest automakers, said that the China fast growing has three problems: air pollution, rising damage of imported oil and traffic jam. If these three obstacles cannot be solved, the Chinese auto industry cannot grow right! Wan Gang, a former Audi engineer in Germany who is now China’s minister of science and technology, portrayed the country’s electric car initiative as central to China’s international competitiveness, but said that there were environmental goals as well. “We need to be sustainable in different sectors, particularly in the auto sector,” he said.

Alternative-energy vehicles are the only way out to fix these challenges, without explaining how a change from gasoline-powered cars to electric cars would fix the never lasting traffic jams in Chinese cities.

This effects me, because thats cool they are trying to become the largest producers of electric cars, but it will take a lot of effort! The economy is hard and they need money to help fix more cars! There are three car related problems that must be hard to fix, so I wish them the best to overcome their goal! :-*kisses To All! MuAh!!! haha. lol :-P :D Remeber Jazmin Loves U!!!  Jazmin

Google launches free online music service in China

Google Inc. started a free online music service in China, a market with about 300 million Web users. The service lets users download and save songs from Warner Music Group Corp., Sony Corp., Universal Music Group, Broadcast Music Inc. and 140 different independent labels, Google said Monday.

Google’s music offering helps services provided by Baidu.com Inc., which has double the market share of the Mountain View, Calif.-based company in China. The record companies will get a share of revenue from advertising sold on the music website, generating sales for them in a market where 99% of all downloads are illegal, according to the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry.

It is really a case of innovate or die for the music companies in China,” said Duncan Clark, chairman of Beijing-based research company BDA China Ltd. “It’s hard to get the younger generation to pay for music.”

Google’s service, which is also provided in cooperation with the Chinese music website Top100, currently has 350,000 songs available for download. That number will be increased to 1.1 million recordings, said Gary Chen, chief executive of Top100.cn.

This affects me and my community because if people in my community were downloading free music from a web sight like the one in China we would get in trouble for doing it.
